In this project, my theme of the information that I wanted to apply was the housing crisis across the world.

As I got to do more research, I knew I wanted to include the topics of having the housing crisis in Dublin, Ireland, and the plans that they planned to implement with Ireland 2040.

I also got interested in seeing if I could compare this place and solution to other places and did a lot of research on how there were different problems with different solutions for each place in the world.

I decided to stick with comparing Dublin and Pittsburgh for the sake of simplicity.

Focusing on looking at three things: The problem in each city, the infrastructure and the cost and facts, and the respective solutions took for each place and the actions that could be taken.

At first, I wrote a lot of things that were not directly related to the end product, but it was helpful for my path to understanding what I wanted to communicate.

Mini Case Study1

Some outline of the information that I wanted to look into

I started making iterations for the first slide

At first, I started with mostly greens and the original color palette.

I worked on other iterations because I thought that the colors and designs were too much on the culture and not on the message.

I ended up working with fewer colors and no shadow on the logo. Also focused on simple typography before implementing shapes.

I got feedback to look at changing the body text to Helvetica and keep the logo of the cities in Cooper Black.

I wanted to work on organizing the information that I am going to apply.

The top three would be talking about the current problems between Dublin and Pittsburgh.

The middle three would be talking about the comparison of cost of living and the infrastructure of each town.

The bottom three would be the governmental plans and implementations of actions.

I decided to have the theme be the same colors schemes and more monochrome.

I added some information and decided to keep the format more consistent for a clean, put-together look.

I added quotes and about the college situation, stats about the prices, and what each plan had in common with each other.

For the final iterations: here is what I have.
